We are so excited to announce a new training opportunity for CNMs and other birth workers in Oregon!

Collaborate Consulting's online training module entitled All Pregnant People, covering the full spectrum of support for transgender people from conception to pregnancy to postpartum. This module is being provided to you through ACNM Oregon Affiliate. The module takes roughly 90 minutes to complete, and is comprised of content delivered through videos, interviews with transgender parents, quizzes and downloadable pdf's, and other resources that will be helpful as you learn how to best understand, support, and welcome the transgender community in your practice.

This absolutely essential module prepares birth workers of all types to offer meaningful, effective support to trans, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming patients. Trainer bio: Trystan Reese is an established thought leader, author, and speaker, focusing on issues of reproductive justice for the transgender community. He has trained hundreds of fertility and birth providers nationwide on the principles of transgender inclusion, and has been organizing with the trans community for over two decades, serving on the frontlines of the biggest LGBTQ fights of his generation. His book, "How We Do Family," was released in Summer 2021 to critical acclaim.
