Foundation Launches Compassionate Support Fund

The Oregon ACNM Foundation is pleased to announce that we have established a fund to provide compassionate support for midwives in grief or work-related distress. The fund is established in the memory of Marc Huggins, the son of our Affiliate President, who died on March 20th, 2015.

In 2016 the Foundation’s Marc Huggins Compassionate Support Fund will support these activities: subsidized or free counseling sessions, half-day small group self-care sessions, and material assistance as possible. The Fund will expand activities and scope in future years.

Contact us at if you or someone you know needs assistance, or if you would like to join or communicate with the committee.

Please consider a tax-deductible donation to help support this important work.
